I collect Hutter stoppers, ceramic stoppers from blob top bottles, swingtops,
swivel stoppers, lightning stoppers from breweries world-wide. These stoppers
were first used around 1900, and in some countries such as Germany, the
Netherlands or Switzerland, these types of bottle closures are still in
use today.
The ceramic caps in my collection should originate from breweries, not
from beer bottlers, beer dealers, botteled water factories, pharmacies,
etc. They can be old or new and can be made from various materials such
as ceramic, plastic, ebonite, etc.
My collection currently comprises about 5800 different stoppers from about
25 countries. Of these there are presented with pictures about 600 on
this webpage.
I trade and buy ceramic caps.
Under the menue "Trade"
you can find pictures of stoppers I offer for trading.
Under the menue "Contact"
you can sent me a message using an online form. Unfortunately I do not
speak Polish. I speak German , English and a little bit of French. If
you sent me a message in a language different from German or English,
please use simple, short sentences, written in present tense. I will try
to translate your message using dictionaries.
The majority of this webpage has been translated also into Polish. For
those pages, which have not yet been translated, you can choose between
a Polish-German and a Polish-Englisch version of this webpage.
